The School of Journalism (Centre universitaire d'enseignement du journalisme - CUEJ) issues a vocational Master's degree in journalism. This Master's degree aims to provide students with the required knowledge and technical skills to fulfill journalism's social and cultural role: report on today's world news and bring relevant insight on various contemporary issues. The courses associate technical teachings (radio, television, press, multimedia, Internet) provided by professional journalists, and thematic specialisations (European Union, Urbanism, French-German relations).
The degree issued upon graduation is recognised by the Convention Collective des Journalists (collective agreement for journalist). The CUEJ also issues a French-German Master’s degree in cooperation with the University of Freiburg.
