Labour Institute (IDT)

Founded in 1955 by Professor Marcel David, with the active support of trade union organisations, Strasbourg’s Labour Institute was the first of its kind in France. Today, it is part of a network of 10 institutes which original purpose is to give union leaders access to higher education. It is partly funded by the Ministry of Labour, Social Relations, Family and Solidarity.
