European Campus Crossing Borders Short Term Program : Adding New Perspectives
This short-term program is a partnership between the University of Strasbourg, the University of Freiburg and the University of Adelaide. The core idea of this project is to introduce to 15 students from the University of Adelaide a two weeks European immersion.
During the first week of this program, from 4th to 9th February, students from the University of Adelaide will discover the city of Strasbourg. As one of the core centers of the European Union, Strasbourg is the ideal city to introduce students to European main topics.
A particular focus will be given to Human Rights, Politics and Institutional framework of the European Union as well as the history, culture and sociolinguistic situation of Alsace. In Strasbourg, students will also have the opportunity to take part in cultural activities linked to the topics learned during the lectures, such as the visit of the European Parliament or the European Commission.
The second week of the program, at the University of Freiburg, will be the opportunity to learn environmental and renewable energy topics under a European perspective.
